Leg Pressotherapy Treatment
Pressotherapy

Pressotherapy is a procedure that is said to help with lymphatic drainage, thereby potentially slimming the look of the arms and legs (because they carry less fluid), easing aches and pains, and detoxifying the body. It uses an air pressure machine to inflate a suit that squeezes your arms, legs, or abdomen in a rhythmic motion, like a massage. Air Relax Pressotherapy, designed its sport recovery system based on clinically proven methods to increase an athlete’s circulation, reduce fatigue and soreness and improve their preformance. We believe recovery should form an integral part of every club’s, athlete’s, coach’s training plan or physiotherapist’s service to sport orientated clients.

Pneumatic Compression

The intermittent pneumatic compression device may be part of a treatment for the following:

  • Oedema of the upper and lower limbs;
  • Venous insufficiency;
  • Lower limbs ulcers;
  • Fluid retention in the lower and upper limbs;
  • Mastectomies;
  • Fractures or after operation of the upper and lower limbs;
  • Arthroplasty;
  • Ankle sprain;
  • Soft tissues injuries (muscular contusion).
